Eric S. Maciolek
Attorney Eric Maciolek graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Eric’s strong interest in science naturally steered him in the direction of forensic science in the courtroom. Attorney Maciolek was accepted to law school in 2004 and attended DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Eric made the Dean’s list throughout a majority of his law school career consistently ranking near the top of his class. In law school he focused on criminal trial lawyer skills. He was one of the top ranked students in a year-long competitive trial advocacy program. Eric excelled in advanced criminal law classes and litigated real cases even as a law student attorney in one of Chicago’s inner city felony courtrooms.
Upon graduation Attorney Maciolek moved to Green Bay, WI, passing the Wisconsin’s Bar Examination soon after. Since returning to Wisconsin, Attorney Maciolek has handled over 2000 criminal cases, in multiple counties. Attorney Maciolek was elected as a board member of the Wisconsin Association of criminal defense attorneys and has served on the board for the last nine years. This organization gathers the best and brightest lawyers in Wisconsin, helping them grow into better attorneys.
Attorney Maciolek has handled every type of criminal case under Wisconsin law – from simple misdemeanors to sexual assaults, from traffic cases to homicides. He has successfully suppressed evidence in felony, misdemeanor, and OWI cases. He has received not-guilty verdicts in multiple cases even in cases that seemed unwinnable. He has a client-centered aggressive approach to litigation. Every client is important to him. Eric’s reputation as a tough litigator follows him wherever he goes in whatever case he is defending.
